Siaya Student Earns Ksh120,000 in a Month Through Ruto’s Digital Jobs Program

A student from Siaya Institute of Technology has earned Ksh120,000 in just one month through Deputy President William Ruto’s Jitume Lab initiative. The young girl, whose identity has not been disclosed, joined the program with a determined goal: to clear outstanding school fees.

Principal Daniel Randa of Siaya Institute of Technology highlighted the student’s incredible achievement, noting that she seized the opportunity provided by the Jitume Lab to not only settle her fees but also gain valuable experience in the digital economy.
