Dem Wa Facebook Addresses Road Accident Rumors, Clears the Air

Kenyan comedian and social media influencer Dem Wa Facebook recently took to her platforms to address rumors that had been circulating online about her being involved in a road accident. The rumors, which quickly spread across various social media channels, sparked concerns among her fans and family. However, the popular celebrity took swift action to clear the confusion, assuring everyone that she was perfectly fine and had not been in any accident.

The comedian, known for her humorous and engaging content, posted a video on her Instagram story to personally address the claims. The video, filmed from the balcony of an apartment, showed Dem Wa Facebook smiling and speaking directly to her followers, starting with a friendly “Hi guys.” In a calm and composed manner, she began explaining the situation to her fans, making it clear that the circulating rumors were false.

“Hi kamama, Hi Kababa, ei I’m always happy. But today, I’m very disappointed. Guys, watu wangu tafadhali – my people kindly – sijapata ajali. I have not been involved in an accident. And I have never been involved in any road accident,” Dem Wa Facebook said in the video.

The rumors had spread like wildfire, with concerned individuals reaching out to her, asking if she was okay and whether she had been injured. Some even called her family members to check on her, leading to unnecessary panic. As a result, Dem Wa Facebook felt compelled to address the situation immediately.

Her Instagram story continued with her emphasizing that she had not been involved in any accident and that the rumors had caused undue stress for both her and her loved ones. She shared how her mother, who had heard the news, became so worried that she fainted. This prompted her to take to social media to personally reassure her fans that she was unharmed.

Dem Wa Facebook also took this opportunity to caution people about the dangers of spreading unverified information online. She called on her followers to be more responsible when sharing stories, advising them to confirm the facts before reposting or resharing content.

“Kindly, before you post something, confirm, check first before you proceed. That was just a small scratch,” she clarified, showing her followers a picture of her red car. “It was at the parking lot, I can show you how it looks, so that you can tell me if that really was an accident. People are reposting, resharing, they are calling to ask me, feeling sympathy for me, guys, I have not had an accident, ati my first accident! No! Si ajali guys, yawa!”

The confusion stemmed from a minor incident that occurred in a parking lot, where Dem Wa Facebook’s vehicle was slightly scratched. However, due to the nature of social media, the event was blown out of proportion, with some claiming it was a major accident. She reassured her audience that the situation was nothing more than a small scratch, which was nothing to be alarmed about.
