GFA Technologies Launches Kaduna Digital Skills Training in Partnership with Kaduna State Government

GFA Technologies, in partnership with the Kaduna State Government, has launched the Kaduna Digital Skills Program for Youths and SMEs. The initiative, which was unveiled on Wednesday, July 4, 2024, at the Kaduna ICT Hub, aims to empower over 100,000 youths and SMEs in Kaduna State with comprehensive digital skills and exposure, mentorship from industry experts, access to high-income generation opportunities, as well as adequate job placement post-training.

The event saw the presence of notable dignitaries, including the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Stakeholders Relations, Engr. Martins Galadima, representing the Deputy Governor of the state, Dr. Hadiza Balarabe. Also in attendance were the Director of Higher Education, Hajia Adama A. Wada, representing the Commissioner for Education, Prof. Muhammad Sani Bello; the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on ICT, Engr. Shuaib Kabiru Bello; and the CCO & Co-founder of GFA Technologies, Mr. Tunji Oke, among other esteemed individuals.

Engr. Martins Galadima, in his address, highlighted that the launch of this program aligns with the government’s vision to harness digital opportunities for job creation and economic prosperity in Kaduna State. He expressed confidence that the collaborative effort between the Kaduna State Government and GFA Technologies would equip individuals and businesses with essential digital skills and knowledge to thrive in the modern economy.

The program is designed to provide participants with comprehensive training in various digital skills, including software development, digital marketing, data analysis, and cybersecurity. Additionally, participants will benefit from mentorship by industry experts, which will help them navigate the digital landscape and seize high-income generation opportunities.

Hajia Adama A. Wada, representing the Commissioner for Education, Prof. Muhammad Sani Bello, also underscored the importance of such initiatives in the current educational framework. “Incorporating digital skills into our education system is crucial for preparing our youths for the future. This program will bridge the gap between education and industry needs, ensuring that our youths are well-prepared for the digital economy,” she stated.
