This unforeseen expense left him with only Sh10,000 to survive on, a situation that became dire within a week.
Njugush’s financial predicament meant he had to adopt a frugal lifestyle. “By the end of that week, I had suffered. I started eating biscuits and tomato sauce,” he admitted. These items were part of the shopping his mother had done for him, and they became his primary sustenance during that tough period.
Despite the hardships, Njugush’s story is one of resilience and resourcefulness. He had just started working with Abel Mutua, a renowned actor and scriptwriter, which provided him with the necessary exposure and opportunities in the entertainment industry.
