Reverend Lucy Natasha is the latest public figure to fall victim to hackers, losing her YouTube account which boasted nearly half a million subscribers and over five hundred million views.
Addressing the issue on her Instagram page earlier today, Rev Natasha revealed the unfortunate news. She warned that any current communications from the hacked account are not from her team and should be disregarded.
“It is unfortunate that our YouTube channel Rev Lucy Natasha has been hacked with close to half a million subscribers and over five hundred million views. Any current communication from the hackers is not from us and should be treated as such,” Rev Natasha wrote on her Instagram page. “Our digital team, together with our communications office, is working on recovering it as quickly as possible, as this channel has impacted lives globally.”
This incident follows a recent trend of influential individuals losing their accounts to hackers at an alarming rate. Digital content creator and influencer Kevin Maina also lost his TikTok account to hackers recently.
Social media users are advised to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity or communications they encounter.
Rev Natasha’s YouTube channel has played a significant role in her ministry, helping her reach and win souls for Christ globally. The channel has promoted Christian engagement through the sharing of scriptures, encouraging messages, and ideas that build spiritual strength and foster a closer relationship with God.
The platform has been particularly impactful among youths, many of whom have turned to Christ and refrained from worldly acts contrary to God’s word through the content shared on the channel.
