Safaricom to Conduct Scheduled System Maintenance Tonight

Safaricom has announced a scheduled system maintenance set to take place tonight, Sunday, July 14, 2024. The maintenance window will begin at 11 PM and conclude at 4 AM on Monday, July 15, 2024.

In an official statement, Safaricom emphasized that during this maintenance period, several services will experience intermittent availability. These include Lipa na M-PESA, Paybill and Buy Goods services, international money transfers via Western Union, M-PESA Global, the M-PESA App, and the mySafaricom App. Users may encounter disruptions when attempting to access these services.

However, Safaricom reassured its customers that all other services will remain operational throughout the maintenance window. This includes voice calls, data services, SMS, and other M-PESA functionalities.
