Two people lost their lives in a tragic road accident in Matungulu, Machakos County. The accident occurred along the Nairobi-Kangundo Road in the Savanna area on Monday evening when a motorbike collided with a private vehicle of Voxy make.
Authorities reported that the two victims, the rider and his pillion passenger, died instantly at the scene. Upon further inspection by traffic officers, the rider was found in possession of approximately 2 kilograms of bhang, which was confiscated.
The deceased are suspected to be residents of Kinyui location in Matungulu subcounty. The collision left both the motorcycle and the vehicle severely damaged, and the wreckage was towed to Tala police station as part of the ongoing investigation.
