Governor Dr. Jonathan Bii Chelilim officially flagged off the consignment on Monday, which is set to be distributed across 138 healthcare facilities in the county. The move marks a crucial step in ensuring that residents have access to essential medications and healthcare services.
The event, which took place at the Uasin Gishu County Referral Hospital, saw Governor Bii urge the residents of Uasin Gishu to take advantage of the available healthcare services. He emphasized the importance of seeking medical attention at the nearest facility whenever they experience health issues, as the county has now stocked its healthcare centers with the necessary drugs.
