Corey Pritchett Jr., a 26-year-old YouTube personality from Houston, Texas, has been arrested after fleeing to Qatar while facing aggravated kidnapping charges. Pritchett, who is known online as CoreySSG, allegedly abducted two women on November 24, 2024, during a disturbing high-speed car ride. The women, whom Pritchett had met online and in person earlier that day, were taken on a wild journey where he threatened them with a gun, even praying with them at one point. The incident ended with Pritchett dropping the women off on the side of the highway after telling them, “This is your only opportunity.”
The victims were later found by local deputies near a weigh station on Interstate 10, after a passerby saw them walking along the road and alerted authorities. Pritchett fled to Qatar shortly after the incident, but he was apprehended on January 17, 2025, and brought back to the U.S. to face charges. He is currently being held on a $100,000 bond and is set to appear in court soon.
According to court records, Pritchett has been a YouTuber for nearly a decade, with over 5 million subscribers across two channels. One of these channels features personal videos, while the other showcases family content with his wife and children. Despite his online success, Pritchett claims to have no assets and a monthly income of $0 in his financial affidavit, and he has requested a public defender.
The kidnapping incident began when Pritchett and the victims, who had spent the day together at a gym, ATV outing, and bowling alley, got into his car to head home. However, instead of driving them back, Pritchett allegedly drove in the opposite direction, speeding down I-10 westbound toward San Antonio. At one point, he pulled out a handgun and began firing it out of the sunroof, all while threatening the women. Despite his violent behavior, the women attempted to calm him down by suggesting they pray together, which he agreed to.
At one point during the ride, Pritchett allegedly told the women, “I’m going to f— y’all and then kill y’all,” before later releasing them. His erratic behavior, including waving the gun and speeding, made the women fear for their lives, and they were eventually left on the side of the highway, where they were rescued.
Pritchett has been vocal about the charges against him, making posts on social media before deleting his Instagram account. He is facing serious charges, and the case continues to unfold.
