Corey Pritchett Jr., a popular YouTuber from Houston, Texas, is facing aggravated kidnapping charges after allegedly abducting two women and taking them on a terrifying high-speed car ride on Interstate 10. The incident, which occurred on November 24, began after Pritchett met the women earlier in the day at a gym, where they spent time together, including an ATV outing and a visit to a bowling alley. The situation took a dark turn when Pritchett, who had been acting suspiciously, allegedly told the women he was being pursued and was accused of setting someone’s car on fire.
Instead of taking the women home as promised, Pritchett drove them westbound on I-10 at speeds exceeding 100 mph. He reportedly pulled out a gold-colored handgun, waving it out of the sunroof and firing it while continuing to drive recklessly. Despite the women’s pleas to be taken home, Pritchett allegedly refused and instead continued to drive, even calling a female friend via video chat and discussing killing the women. He reportedly asked the caller if it was the right time to kill the women, to which the caller responded affirmatively.
At one point, Pritchett allegedly told the women, “I’m going to f y’all and then kill y’all,” but later changed his mind. He eventually dropped them off on the side of the highway near Brookshire, Texas, at approximately 1:18 a.m. The women, left stranded in the dark, walked for about an hour before flagging down a passing driver who called 911. Deputies from the Waller County Sheriff’s Office later found the women and ensured their safety.
Pritchett, who has over 5 million subscribers on YouTube, has been vocal about his situation on social media. He posted on Instagram, claiming he would reveal the details of the case both online and in court. Despite his arrest, Pritchett maintained his innocence and expressed confidence in his legal defense, stating he had the “best lawyer in Houston.”
The case has garnered significant attention due to the shocking nature of the allegations and the high-profile status of Pritchett, who is known for his comedic videos, music, and lifestyle vlogs. His social media posts in the aftermath of his arrest suggest that he plans to fight the charges and maintain his innocence throughout the legal process.
